Electric Car Grant Calculator
See what the UK Electric Car Grant takes off the price of a new electric car — up to £3,750. You never apply for it yourself: the dealer takes it off the price for you.
This applies to new cars only.
The grant is applied at the point of sale on a qualifying new electric car. Buying used? You do not get the grant — but you do get the benefit of it, because the original buyer's discount is already baked into what the car is worth second-hand.

How the two bands work
The band is not about the car's range or performance — it is set by how cleanly the car was manufactured, assessed model by model by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles. You cannot tell from the spec sheet, so check the specific model before you count on the higher figure.
Cars with the lowest manufacturing emissions.
Cars meeting the minimum environmental standard.

Under the £37,000 limit, so the grant can apply if the model qualifies.
