Our first published price index will follow once UK listing volume is large enough to produce cohort medians that are statistically meaningful.
Autoza UK Used Car Price Index
The Price Index will publish median asking prices for UK used cars, grouped by make, model, year band, and fuel type, with the sample size and confidence tier shown on every figure.
It is not published yet. We only publish a cohort median once that cohort holds enough real UK listings to be meaningful — a minimum of 10 listings per published cohort, and a marketplace-wide floor beneath which we publish nothing at all. We would rather publish late than publish a number a journalist or an AI engine would be wrong to quote. For asking prices in the meantime, use the monthly Asking-Price Report, the market-data API or the stats dashboard below.
Monthly Asking-Price Report
Once a month we record what the cars listed on Autoza were asking, by make, model, fuel type and body style, and from the November 2026 edition also by age, electric and hybrid cars by age, the most-listed models by age, and city. We publish it with the method and a free CSV, under CC BY 4.0. These are asking prices from one marketplace, not sale prices and not a UK price index.
